Exciting news that just came our way – Montreal’s Golden Troll Warcry Tournament will be coming back in March, 2025.
We attended the inaugural tournament earlier this year and had a blast. Afterwards, we wrote about it extensively, covering things like an overall tournament recap, the tournament lists, and even a tournament battle report or two. My cheeky Scions of the Flame tournament roster even came in 1st place.
More likely than not, we’ll be attending again next year too as the tournament opens up to having even more contestants (It was scheduled for 12, but only 8 showed – next year it’s aiming for 14).

Hey Warcry Fans,
We had an awesome time in March 2024 at the 1st annual Golden Troll Tournament here in Montreal, and we’re looking forward to hosting the next one!
The 2nd Golden Troll Tournament will be held on Saturday March 8th, 2025, in Montreal.
Some key details:
- There are 14 spots available
- Entry will be $30 for contestants
- Guests are invited too and can attend for $10 (Note: each participant is limited to 1 guest)
- Rules and tournament details will be posted closer to the event date

It’s first come first-serve to reserve your spot, but in case there’s a lot of demand we’ll consider putting together a waiting list.
